Dementia care
We care for those just recently diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease and those who have mild early onset of dementia. Our activities and ethos of the home focus on continuing to encourage independence and dignity. Balloo house encourages residents to live life as if they were in their own home environments by encouraging activities they would of done at home folding towels, gardening, setting up place settings with staff in the dining room.

Respite care
Balloo house provides long or short term respite care for those who are recovering from a hospital operation and feel a return home would be daunting. Those residents who may of lost a loved one and would like the company of others. Potential residents and their families who would like to try care before making a decision. Our care home staff can work with residents and their families to ensure there stay with us benefits the residents needs and wishes.

Was very fortunately to get my parents into Balloo House at the same time. Mum is EMI and Dad has major health issues, although still lightly mobile. What a blessing to find Balloo House with nice surroundings and facilities, very caring and professional staff, and a very helpful manager. I have no qualms and feel that my parents are in an excellent facility, especially as I do not live locally.
